Show employee and more information within Expenditure Inquiry in Project Management
By default in Project Management the Expenditure Inquiry on the Financial tab shows very less information about your project expenditure items. We would like to show here more information like for example the actual employee name who recorded time on the project. This way, within the project itself, this information can be viewed and, with using the standard Export option within Expenditure Inquiry, the information can be exported for the project.
To show more information in the Expenditure Inquiry we have the ability to use a personalization to actually accomplish this.
First you have to enable some profile options and set it to the username who's going to do the change. Change the below profile options and set it for the specific username on value Y (for Yes).
- Create Seeded Personalizations
- FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled
- FND: Personalization Seeding Mode
- HR: Enable User Personalization
- Personalize Self-Service Defn
Click on the Personalize "Expenditure Items" link.
All the columns that you can show by default in the screen are listed within the Table: Expenditure Items node. Click on the Personlize pencil behind the column that you want to render in the screen. For example we want to add the Employee name to the screen. Click on the Personalize pencil after the Message Styled Text: Employee node.
Change the Rendered property to True on Site level or one of the other levels. Apply your personalization. Repeat these steps for all the columns you want to show by default.
To order the columns you can use the Reorder option at the Table: Expenditure Items node.
In the reorder contents block select the level where you want to define your personalization. After that all the columns within the original definition are copied to your level. Use the order options to move the columns you show to the end user to the place you want them to appear. Apply your personalization.
After applying all personalizations the default Expenditure Inquiry will show your new columns in the order you have defined.
